β-HCG es un inmunoensayo fluorescente para la medición cuantitativa del nivel de β-HCG en suero humano y sangre total. Esta prueba se realiza para ayudar a diagnosticar el embarazo si una mujer se someterá a un tratamiento médico, se le administrarán ciertos medicamentos o se someterá a otras pruebas, como radiografías, que podrían dañar al bebé en desarrollo.
